In a word, no.

Now, there's guaranteeing a place for the U.S. National Team in all future World Cups, something I'm certain four qualifying spots for our region would do, but then there's what right. And this ain't right. Only Mexico did the region proud in '06; Trinidad & Tobago's achievement came only courtesy of low expectations.

Does our region really need to be the George W. of the soccer world?
